The Federation aims at
- Protecting and representing the interests of entrepreneurs involved in fire protection, on a nationwide level.
- Participating and commenting relevant legislation and making proposals for amendments thereto, based upon experience.
- Providing outsider companies with professional and ethical recommendations.
- Informing the members on changes in relevant legislation, holding professional lectures in order to help adherence to law, and supporting implementation thereof.
- Organizing professional preparatory and update training courses, supporting the members to rely upon more than one activity, and helping them extend their activities.
Through the Ethical Committee, we have elaborated ethical standards for the attitude of our members as entrepreneur and on the market and have helped their realization. We render a help in settling disputes between our members, and provide consultation on performing fire protection tasks.
We have contacted similar federations in neighbouring countries, and have organized international conferences on fire protection, allowing participants to get to know products of manufacturers and distributors from each country and to discuss common problems arising in these countries.
